Greenberg Looks Forward to Las Vegas Excitement

LAS VEGAS, NV – After a respectable qualifying performance at their first race of the year in Phoenix, the Lyle Greenberg Motorsports Federal Mogul Funny Car team is looking forward to a higher level of performance at the Summitracing.com Nationals in Las Vegas. The NHRA national event will be held April 5-8, 2001. With a central location for many of the racers in the western United States, the Las Vegas event will draw a large field of Federal Mogul Funny Cars.

"The Phoenix race was our first attempt at running with the new rule that limits the supercharger overdrive to 92%," said team owner and driver Lyle Greenberg. "We learned some things about what the car needs to perform well. In addition we found a few mechanical glitches that we have fixed. If everything comes together and I drive the car well, we should be able to run 5.80s or 5.90s. We really look forward to running in Las Vegas. Not only is
it an exciting city, but the facility at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is fabulous."
